Hi — I’m glad you found this.

This isn’t going to be another “top 10 bird feeders” list. You’ve got plenty of those elsewhere on this site already, written the honest, no-fluff way we like to do things here.

This is the other side of FeederFolk: the personal side. The stuff I notice from my own kitchen window — a goldfinch that shows up at almost the same time every morning, the week a woodpecker finally found the suet after ignoring it all spring, the ongoing, faintly embarrassing war with a squirrel who is smarter than I am.

I’ll post here every week or two, whenever there’s something worth sharing. Some posts will lean practical — what I’m changing in my own setup as the seasons shift. Others will just be stories.
